Where does this method come from?

This blowing of hair dryer heat is inspired by our dealing with the wasp sting. Wasp or bee’s sting can be painful. Their venom contains protein, which can be de-activated by heat.  Using the amount of tolerable high heat from a hairdryer, blow on the place where the wasp stung for several minutes. The pain and swollen can be greatly reduced. Afterward only very mild discomfort can be experienced for a couple of hours or no discomfort at all.
