I have been a longtime sufferer of allergies and asthma, and will typically have exacerbations in late summer and early Autumn, resulting rhinitis and frontal headaches that impair my sleep and affect my concentration. After taking the herbs Dr. Liu prescribed to me. My headache dissipated and my sleep improved. Moreover, I am able to breathe more freely. Dr. Liu is a mindful, attentive, and highly knowledgeable herbalist that helped me move forward on my path to health.

It is my great luck to know Dr. Liu and receives her Chinese medicine and acupuncture treatments multiple times. She has cured me at the following scenarios: 

- Cough

Like other people who always suffer from allergy, I catch cold and become sub-bronchitis each spring and autumn. I have suffered from cough every yeat that I cannot talk long and fall asleep at night when changing season at spring and autumn. Dr. Liu prescribed me with Chinese medicine for three times. I am cpmpleted cured. As west medicine practitioners know, there is no truly effective drug for cough in the world. Patients wait weeks until the symptom naturally goes away after an extremely painful long period of time. In May 2014, Dr. Liu's prescription enabled me to teach training class three days after my cough-I even can act as MC of a fundraising event agter teaching class for an entire afternoon. It is amazing because that happened after I started bad cough three days ago. 

- Rapid Heart Rate

Most recently, my heavy workload stressed me out and made my heart beat at 90 times per minutes. I cannot fall asleep at night. My heart knowledge gained from my working experience at the world larest cardiovascular implantable device manufacturer suggests me it is very likely early Atrial Fibrillation. If I go to a western medicine doctor, I will be asked to wear a monitoring Holter for at least 24 hours and may have to go through complicated Procedures. Then I tried to have Dr. Liu help me via acupuncture. Her silver needles poked at my back, ears, chest and head. I recovered from the RHT symptdom in thirty minutes. Chinese acupuncture can cure many diseases that otherwise could cost a lot more if adopting western medical approach. Most of all, it has NO SIDE EFFECT!!!

- Hyperplasia of Mammary Flands

I had suffered from hyperplasia of mammary glands for years. Each time after Dr. Liu's acupuncture treatment, I feel much better. The best pain  is gone and the breast issue become soft.

- Lower Back Pain

I had chronic lower back pain once a while for many years due to an injury when I was a teenager. Dr. Liu gave me acupuncture treatment and significantly improved my back pain.

Dr. Liu is very responsible for her patients. When she does acupuncture, she pushes in the needles and remove the needles in the most protective way to avoid potential Chi loss. She gives detailed instructions on life style change and diet change. Both of which are very help to keep me healthy in long run.

Wei Yan recommended an herbal formula for me when I had a head cold that had been bothering me for a few days. I had a very runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, and fatigue. If there’s a problem Weiyan can’t help solve with Chinese herbal medicine, I haven’t found it yet. She’s treated all kinds of issues I’ve had, with much more success than other practitioners I’ve tried.

Weiyan helped my body recover from an intractable bacterial infection. I had taken antibiotics, which cleared it up for a few weeks before it recurred. I really couldn’t face taking antibiotics every few weeks, so I thought I’d give Chinese herbal medicine a try. Two other practitioners of Chinese medicine prescribed formulas that had little or no effect. I was about to give up hope when I went to see Weiyan. The formula she prescribed cleared up most of the infection within one week! When it resurfaced in a less virulent form a few months later, I took another course of the herbs, and it’s been gone for 3 years now. I’m confident it will not come back, but I know who to see if it does.

Weiyan treated my second degree burns. Who knew Chinese medicine could do that?!? I had been using a cream I got from the hospital for about a week, which was keeping the burns from becoming infected but not helping them to heal. One week after I got the burns, I started taking a formula from Weiyan. Within 24 hours, I could see that the burns had “turned a corner” and were really starting to heal.

Weiyan has prescribed different formulas for colds. One time, I just told her I’d spent too much time riding my bicycle improperly dressed in chilly autumn weather and had literally caught a chill. I was afraid I was going to get sick. She gave me a formula that knocked the chill right out of my system in a matter of hours. My friend who had the same symptoms as I did but didn’t take the formula came down with a cold. Weiyan also recently treated my boyfriend, who had contracted a nasty case of pharyngitis. He had a terrible cough that wouldn’t clear up after the rest of his symptoms had gone away. Weiyan prescribed a 5-day formula that only took 2 days to work.

Really, I can’t recommend Weiyan highly enough. If you are looking for a kindhearted practitioner who really knows how to use Chinese medicine, she’s the one!

Dr. Liu's knowledge of Eastern medicine is outstanding. She has treated me many times from colds and or Flu to unprecedented allergic reactions. In every case of mine, she provided a remedy that I was comfortable with, and that delivered results quicker than other traditional medicinal options. Additionally, her follow-up care was second to none and fully demonstrated her dedication to patient care. I was recently treated by Dr. Liu for an acute case of food poisoning! She was able to treat my symptoms quickly and affectively with an herbal prescription. After taking the first dose, I felt 90% better, and was able to get back to my daily routine with much more ease than before I came to see her! I would certainly recommend visiting Dr. Liu for any digestive issues you might be having!
